This is a “den” that stood in one of my local woods for what seems like (and probably was) years. I’m fairly sure that it got repaired more than once during the time I’ve known it, but it seems that Storm Eunice (in March 2022) has finally done for it. This drawing, based on one of the many photographs I have taken of it, is a sort of memorial to the construction.
Ink on kaolin-coated board, 16 x 12″, framed to 44 x 34cm in a black wood tray frame.
Sold at exhibition 2023.
