The multistoried Multistorey aquired another story yesterday evening, when it won me the Monochrome Award at the private view of the 103rd SGFA Open Exhibition. The photograph above was taken by fellow artist Flic Flutter as I accepted the award.
The exhibition, at the Mall Galleries in London, continues until Saturday 16 March – only four more days!
And on one of them – Friday 15th March – I’ll be back in the gallery at 2pm, giving a demonstration of ink-on-kaolin (which is probably more interesting than Multistorey’s ink-on-paper because there’s more to the process. Ink on paper is as much about what you don’t do as it is about what you do do). My other two pieces in the exhibition are ink on kaolin-coated board.
