Standfast

This is based on a photograph that I took on a walk in east Hampshire which included two bridleways called Standfast Lane and Mill Lane. I can’t remember which lane I took the photograph on , but it doesn’t really matter because Standfast is a much better and more appropriate name for the picture than Mill!

The foreground tree is a field maple and those in the background are, if I recall correctly, hornbeam – the colour is skewed to match the orange-brown of the forest floor.
