The origins of this drawing and the photograph it was based on are quite involved and not very interesting, so let’s just say that I had this photograph, of piglets crowding to the newly-filled trough at Bucklebury Farm Park in Berkshire, and I thought that it would work very well with my scraperboard technique (and a limited palette).
The title is both a reference to the noise a delighted pig might make and an abbreviation of “squeeze”.
And my, what a delight a pig’s ear truly is!
